AgeWell Middle Tennessee helps older adults and their families navigate some of life's most challenging moments. Whether someone needs guidance on care options for a loved one, help finding financial resources, or simply someone to answer their questions, AgeWell is a free, trusted resource that's there when it's needed most. They serve older adults and caregivers across 13 counties in Middle Tennessee, providing compassionate, expert guidance.
On August 19, our community is coming together with a goal of raising $30,000 to help ensure AgeWell can continue serving those who need it most. I'm proud to be part of this effort, and I'd be grateful if you'd consider making a donation.

RESET Story: Richard spent decades building a music career — teaching drum lessons, performing, and living his passion. But when income stopped covering basic needs when he moved to Nashville, and his single term of military service left him ineligible for VA benefits, he had very few places to turn.
AgeWell RESET changed that. In one consultation, he was connected to SNAP benefits through FiftyForward, emergency utility assistance through NeedLink, financial planning resources through the United Way Financial Empowerment Center, and employment support for adults 50+. A follow-up months later added a LIHEAP credit toward his electric bill.

Eldercare Coach Story: When a daughter-in-law reached out to AgeWell's Eldercare Coach program, she was searching for answers — not for herself, but for her aging in-laws who were struggling to manage daily life independently.
The family had been piecing things together: coordinating medical appointments, managing crises, and at one point, having an adult child temporarily move in after her mother-in-law broke her ankle. It wasn't sustainable. And with the in-laws resistant to changing their living situation, the family felt stuck.
One conversation with an AgeWell Eldercare Coach changed that. She learned their long-term care insurance might already cover in-home services they didn't know were available. She walked away with tools for family decision-making, resources comparing in-home care and assisted living, and referrals for vision loss support, senior care advisors, and geriatric care managers.
"It was so helpful to talk with you, to validate that we're on the right track with many things, and get more ideas. We'll definitely keep your contact info around."
